Jeevika Food Machinery Co.

Down here in K.K. Nagar, specifically on the second floor of 19/10 on 64th Street, you’ll find Jeevika Food Machinery Co. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve been here in the 10th Sector for a good bit of time. The office is usually filled with the sound of someone talking on the phone or the hum of the old air conditioner. We deal with machines for food stuff, which means there’s often a lot of manuals and technical drawings lying around. It gets a bit cluttered sometimes, but we know where everything is. Our space isn't huge, so we have to be smart about where we put the bigger parts. Most of the staff has been with us for years. We aren't really into big meetings or corporate talk. We just focus on the equipment. If a machine has a problem, we try to figure it out. It’s practical work. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is due or a customer has a specific question about a motor or a belt. The neighborhood is quiet enough, which helps when we need to concentrate. People drop by now and then just to check on an order. We sit at the wooden table in the corner and talk it through. It's just a normal business doing its part in the local food industry without any extra fluff or fancy presentations.
