Jayakumar

My name is Jayakumar and I run this small place at No41 in Rayala Nagar. It’s right here in Ramapuram, which is part of Royapuram in Chennai. People around here know the spot pretty well because we have been around for a long time. I’ve been working from this address for quite some time now. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a simple room where we get things done every day. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic and the horns, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. I usually open up early in the morning before it gets too hot. The tea stall nearby is where I get my first cup before I start the day. There’s a lot of paperwork usually, or sometimes people just stop by to ask things. I don't really have a big team, it's mostly just me and a couple of others helping out when it gets busy. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the last few years. New buildings are coming up and old ones are getting pulled down all the time. But we stay right here. It’s a bit cramped inside because of all the files and stuff we’ve collected, but we know where everything is. If you're looking for us, look for number 41. The sign is a bit old now, but you can still read my name on it. It’s a practical way to spend the day, just working.
