Janagiraman

I am Janagiraman. My workspace is in unit B 1 at the Lsr Apartments, which is located at 13/2 Sri Lakshmi Street. It’s a mostly quiet residential area, which I prefer. I started working from home because it was the most practical thing to do at the time. I don't have a proper shop front or a showroom. It’s just my apartment that I’ve converted into a place to work. It can get a bit cramped when I have a lot of supplies and materials spread out on the floor. My family helps me out with the small things when they have time. We’ve lived in Chennai for generations and this street feels like home to me. I don't like the way big companies use such formal language. It always sounds like a machine wrote it. I just want to be honest and straightforward with the people I deal with. I make mistakes once in a while, just like anyone else. When that happens, I just fix them and keep going. I don't have a fancy logo or any branding. My name is written on the door and that is plenty for me. The afternoon humidity can be quite tough in this part of town, so I usually have the ceiling fan running on its highest setting. If you ever stop by, I’ll likely offer you a glass of cold water and a seat. It’s just how we do things in this house.
