If you drive down G.N.T. Road in Erukkanchery, you’ll pass right by our place at No. 93. It’s a loud stretch of road with all the heavy trucks headed north, so we get plenty of dust and noise coming through the door. Our building is simple, just four walls and a roof that keeps the rain off the equipment. We’ve been operating here for quite a while, and the neighborhood knows us as the place that’s always busy. We don’t have an office staff, so when the phone rings, one of us usually wipes their hands on a rag before picking it up. The work is mostly manual, using the machines to shape whatever the client has asked for. We don't have a big catalog of products, we just take the orders and get them done. The floor is concrete and showing its age, with patches here and there. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is tight, watching the traffic slow down outside as the sun goes down. We get our supplies from local dealers we’ve known for years. There isn't much formality here; we just show up, do the labor, and head home. It’s the kind of place where you get grease on your shirt and calluses on your hands. We don’t bother with marketing or anything like that because the work usually speaks for itself to the people who come by. It’s just a normal workshop trying to keep up with the daily demands.
