J R Travel Service is situated on the second floor of number 336 Thambu Chetty Street. If you look across the road, you’ll see the Madras High Court. That part of Parrys is always packed with people and cars, so it’s a very lively spot to be in. We’ve been running this travel service from this office for quite some years. It’s just a standard office space where we handle bookings and travel arrangements. We don't have any flashy displays or big marketing slogans. Most people come to us because they need someone to handle the details of their trip that they don't want to do themselves. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking the latest travel updates. It’s a lot of small details to keep track of, like visa dates and flight connections. We try to be as clear as possible with everyone who walks in. The stairs up to the second floor keep us moving. We get a lot of walk-ins from the legal offices nearby or people who are in town for court business. They often need a quick way home or a flight to another city. We just sit at our desks and get it sorted. It’s not a complicated way to live, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We’re just a local fixture in the Parrys neighborhood now, doing our thing every day.
