We are based in Unit-iii at Plot No. 120 within the Ambattur Industrial Estate. This is one of the busiest spots in the city for industrial work, and we fit right in. The sound of machines and the movement of lorries is just part of the daily background here. Our unit is a solid space where we handle different automation tasks. It is not a place for suits and ties. We wear work clothes and usually have grease or dust on our hands by noon. The layout is simple with some office space in the front and the main working floor in the back. We keep our supplies on heavy-duty racks along the walls. Chennai heat can be tough in an industrial unit, but we are used to it by now. We have got a group of people here who really understand the mechanics of what we do. There is no big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the projects that come through the door. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work, so there is a sense of community in the estate. We share news and sometimes tools with the units next door. It is a place where work comes first. We take our breaks when we can and try to keep the workflow steady despite the humid weather. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job before the weekend starts.
