Adaptek Automation Technology

Our place is at No. 4 on 2nd Street in Seva Nagar. The address used to be Old No. 11, which still confuses some people, especially the delivery drivers coming from Gandhi Road. Velachery is a pretty hectic part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise and movement right outside. Adaptek Automation Technology is basically where we spend most of our time. We work on various technical projects, mostly involving how different machines communicate with each other. We are just a small crew here. The office is very functional and a bit plain, but it is where all the actual work gets done. There are always manuals and tools scattered around the benches. Sometimes the traffic in Velachery makes it a real pain to get to a client site on time, but we manage. We have a simple routine. We start with coffee and then get straight into whatever is on the schedule for the day. It is not a corporate setup at all. We wear regular clothes and talk to each other like normal people do. We just happen to have a lot of experience with automation stuff. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we first opened up here. There are a lot more shops and cafes around now. We just keep doing our work at our own pace. It is a practical way to earn a living and we like being here.
