Inland Hotel

You’ll find Inland Hotel at number 6 Blackers Road, right off Mount Road in Chennai. We are situated very close to the Casino Cinema Hall, so there is always a lot of energy and noise around the building. Being in the 600002 area means we are right in the heart of things. The hotel itself is an older building, and it has that classic Chennai feel to it. We spend our time checking guests in, carrying luggage, and making sure the rooms are ready for the next person. It’s a 24-hour kind of job, so someone is always awake here. The lobby isn't very big, and it can get crowded when a group arrives at the same time. We don't use a lot of fancy technology; we still like to talk to our guests and write things down. Mount Road is always buzzing with traffic, and you can hear the horns and the people from the rooms sometimes, but that’s just part of staying in this part of town. We have regulars who have been coming here for decades because they like being near the cinema and the markets. We don't have a big corporate team behind us. It’s just us running the place, making sure the water is running and the fans are spinning. It’s a simple hotel for people who need a place to sleep.
