Parrys is a very old part of the city, and it’s always crowded with people doing business or catching buses. Our building isn't new, but it's got character. We’ve been here for years, watching the streets change. Moore Street is usually packed with vendors and bikes, so it can be a bit of a squeeze getting through, but once you find us, it’s a bit calmer inside. We have rooms for people who are in town for work or just visiting the markets nearby. Being so close to the GPO makes it easy for people to give directions to us. We handle all the cleaning and the front desk ourselves mostly. It’s a lot of walking up and down the stairs. The mornings are the loudest time here because the whole neighborhood wakes up early to start the trade. We don't have a big corporate lobby, just a desk and a place to sit. Most of our guests are regulars who have been coming to Parrys for years. We know the tea sellers on the corner and the guys who deliver the water. It’s just a basic place to stay right in the heart of the city’s oldest commercial hub.
