Hotel Shelter

We are located right on Venkatesa Agraharam Street in Mylapore, taking up spots 19, 20, and 21. It is a busy part of the neighborhood, and you can always hear the bells from the nearby temples if the wind is right. The building has been here for years, and we have seen the street change quite a bit since we first opened. Inside, the hallways are a little narrow, but we keep them well-lit so people don't trip. Our staff stays busy moving between the different sections of the building. Sometimes the elevator takes a second to arrive because it is an older model. We don't have a big corporate team; it is mostly just the same few faces you see every morning. The kitchen gets started around six, and the smell of coffee usually drifts up to the first floor pretty quickly. We have a lot of regulars who have been coming here for a decade, so we know their names and how they like their rooms. The furniture is solid wood, though some of the corners have scuffs from suitcases hitting them. It is just a practical place to stay while you are doing business or visiting family in the city. The noise from the street can be a bit much during festival times, but that is just how Mylapore is. We do our best to keep the rooms quiet and the beds comfortable for everyone who stops by.
