Hitek Engineers

Hitek Engineers is located over on North Mada Street in Padi. The shop number is 67/37. Padi is a very industrial area, so there is always a lot of heavy traffic and the constant sound of trucks moving nearby. Our street has its own local character and stays quite busy during the day. We do engineering work here, mostly small-scale stuff that requires a lot of attention to detail and patience. The building is an older one, and we have been here long enough that we don't even notice the heavy noise from the main road anymore. Inside, the space is full of metal parts and oil cans. We have a few lathes and some basic machinery that we use every single day. It is not some high-tech lab despite what the name might suggest; it is more of a traditional workshop where things get oily and dirty. We wear work clothes that usually have a few grease stains on them by noon. That is just how it goes when you are working with your hands and metal. We handle orders from local factories and sometimes individuals who need something repaired or built from scratch. The paperwork usually stays on a simple clipboard hanging by the front door. We don't have a receptionist, so if someone walks in, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and goes to see what they need. (256 words)
