We have been over here at 31/2 Tankbund Road in Nungambakkam for a while now. Most days it’s just us handling calls and making sure the teams get out to where they need to go. If you know this part of Chennai, you know how busy it gets around here. Our office isn’t anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done. We deal with pests and keep things clean, which keeps us pretty busy from morning until evening. It is a lot of coordination. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it is quiet enough to actually grab a tea together. The heat in Nungambakkam can be something else, so we keep the fans going and try to stay organized. Most of the people working here have been around for years. We know the local streets and the shortcuts to avoid the worst traffic. It’s a lot of manual work and checking schedules on old clipboards. We don’t really do big speeches or fancy posters. If a job needs doing, one of the guys heads out and takes care of it. That is basically the whole story of how we run things. It’s just honest work. We see the same faces every day and try to keep things running smooth without making too much of a fuss. The building itself is an older one, but it works for us and what we do.
