Hanish Foods

Hanish Foods is set up right on Kadaperi Road in Tambaram. If you've been around this part of town, you know how busy it gets with the foot traffic. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. It’s a noisy street, but we like being in the middle of everything. Our building is pretty straightforward and functional. We don’t have big flashy lights or expensive signs. We just focus on getting the food ready and out the door to our customers. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when things get busy in the middle of the afternoon. The staff here are mostly locals from around the Tambaram area. We all know each other’s names and how we like our tea during breaks. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time parking because Kadaperi Road is so tight, but we always make it work somehow. We started Hanish Foods because there seemed to be a real need for it in this neighborhood. We don’t spend much time thinking about branding or mission statements. We just want to make sure the food is okay and the folks are satisfied when they leave. It’s a practical way to run a business. The floor is usually a bit messy during the day when we are in the middle of a rush, but we clean it all up before we head home. If you’re walking down the road, you can’t miss us.
