Grt Grand Hotel

The Grt Grand Hotel has been sitting here on Sir Thiyagaraya Road in T Nagar for a while now. If you know Pondy Bazaar, you know how loud it gets with all the shoppers and the traffic. We are right at No 120 in the middle of that mess. Usually, people show up tired after carrying bags around all day. We have the usual rooms and the lobby where people wait for their friends. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow when everyone is checking in at once. We don't have a giant courtyard, but the location makes up for it if you need to buy clothes or jewelry. The staff here mostly speaks Tamil and English. We see a lot of families coming in from other towns for weddings or just to see the city. Our kitchen stays busy in the mornings with breakfast. It’s a practical place to stay. You won't find anything too fancy or over the top, just a decent bed and a shower. T Nagar is a busy place, and we are just a part of it. We keep things running even when the power fluctuates or the rain hits the street outside. People like that they can walk to the stores from here. It gets really crowded during the festival seasons. We just try to get the rooms ready on time and keep the water running hot for the guests.
