Green Vision

We’ve been here at 27/7 MTH Road for quite a long time. People usually find us because we’re right across from the Nathamuni Theatre. It’s a busy spot. We mostly deal with glasses and eye testing at Green Vision. It’s not a huge place, but we have enough frames for people to pick from. Some people come in just to get their old frames fixed or to get the screws tightened. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. The traffic on MTH road can be a bit much, but it means people notice our sign when they're stuck in it. We started with just a few racks of frames and slowly added more. The testing room is in the back. It’s quiet back there away from the street noise. We don’t really do big sales or anything, just keep the prices where they should be. Most of our day is just checking prescriptions and helping people find something that doesn't look weird on their face. Sometimes kids come in and break their glasses, so we spend time fixing those. We keep a notebook for all the orders. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. We’re usually open until late evening so people can stop by after work. It’s just a normal local shop where we know most of the people who walk in. We handle contact lenses too, though most prefer the regular glasses. The shop gets dusty because of the road, so we're always cleaning the glass cases. It's a steady rhythm here. We just like doing our work quietly.
