Green Park Hotel

We've been here on NSK Salai in Vadapalani for a while now. The traffic outside is always something else, but inside it stays pretty quiet. Most mornings start with the staff getting the lobby ready and checking the lists for the day. It gets busy because we're right in the middle of everything in Chennai. People come in for meetings or just to stay while they're working nearby. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are sorted and the kitchen is moving. Sometimes the elevator takes a second too long, but that's just how things go. It's a big building, so there is always a bulb to change or a carpet that needs a quick vacuum. We see a lot of regulars who have been coming through these doors for years. They know the staff by name, and we know how they like their tea. It isn’t always perfect, but we try to keep things running smooth so folks have a place to sit down and rest after being out in the heat. It’s a lot of work keeping up with a place this size on such a busy road, but we’re used to the pace by now. We just open the doors every morning and get to it, making sure everyone who walks in finds what they need without too much fuss.
