Goutham Manor Hotel

Goutham Manor Hotel is situated at No 74 on Nungambakkam High Road. If you know Chennai, you know this road is almost always packed with cars and buses. We are right in the middle of all that action in Nungambakkam. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of offices and shops nearby. Our hotel has been here for quite some time now. It’s a solid building, nothing too modern, but it stays standing. We have a crew of guys who handle the bags and the cleaning. Some of them have been working here since I was a kid. We get a lot of regulars who come back every time they have work in the city. It’s not like staying at one of those huge international chains where everything is white and sterile. We have a bit more grit to us. The lobby has some old furniture and we keep a newspaper on the table for people to read. The rooms are basic but they have enough space. We try to keep the noise from the high road out, but you can still hear the honking sometimes. That’s just life in Nungambakkam for you. We just provide a place to stay for people who need to be in this part of town. No big promises, just a room and a key. We aren't fancy, but we are here every day. We make sure the water is hot and the beds are made.
