Gomathi Driving School

Gomathi Driving School is situated at No 23 on Sriram Nagar Main Road in Tharamani. We are right in the middle of a busy residential and IT area in Chennai. A lot of people around here want to learn to drive so they can commute to their offices or run errands without depending on autos. We started this school because we noticed there weren't enough patient teachers in this part of town. Our office is a small room where we keep the records and meet new students. We have a few cars that we use for the lessons. Driving in Tharamani can be a bit of a challenge with the narrow roads and the traffic from the nearby tech parks, but that’s where people need to learn. We spend our days sitting in the passenger seat, showing people how to handle the steering and when to shift the gears. It’s repetitive work but it feels good when someone finally passes their test at the RTO. We don't have any big slogans or flashy signs. Most of our students are just neighbors or people who work nearby. We just try to show up on time and give them their full hour of practice. The humidity in Chennai makes it tough sometimes, especially in the middle of the day, but we keep the lessons going. It’s just a regular local school helping people get on the road safely. We’ve been here for a while and know these streets very well.
