Being situated in the Omandurar Govt. Estate in Chennai is quite something because of all the activity around us. It is a very central part of Tamil Nadu, and the 600002 area is always humming with people. You can hear the city noise from the windows all day long. Our office here is pretty basic. We have the usual desks and chairs, and it feels like a regular government-adjacent workspace. Finding the place can be a little tricky if you aren't familiar with the estate layout, but once you are here, it is easy to settle in. The commute for most of us is the hardest part, dealing with the Chennai traffic every single morning and evening. We spend a lot of time just managing the everyday tasks that come across our desks. There isn't much of a view, mostly just other buildings and the busy streets outside. We have a small corner for coffee and snacks, which is where most of the chatting happens. It’s a very functional environment. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders as long as the work is getting finished on time. Most of the staff here live nearby or take the train in. It’s just a standard office where we show up, do what needs to be done, and then head home to our families. It is honest work in a very busy part of the city.
