Car Audio People

Our shop, Car Audio People, is over at 881/1 Rama Swamysalai in K K Nagar. You can find us right opposite the Pondicherry Guest House, which is a pretty well-known spot in the area. We are usually easy to spot because there are often a couple of cars parked out front with their doors open and wires hanging out. That is just how it looks when we are in the middle of an installation. We spend our time fitting speakers, subwoofers, and head units into all kinds of vehicles. It is a bit of a noisy job, between testing the sound systems and the general traffic noise from Rama Swamysalai. We have a small indoor area where we keep some of the audio gear on shelves so people can see what is available, but the real work happens on the floor. It is dusty and hands-on work. We get a lot of people who are tired of their factory speakers and want something that sounds a bit clearer. We’ve been at this for a while, so we know our way around the dashboards of most car models. It isn't a high-end showroom experience; it's a workshop where we get our hands dirty and make sure the wiring is done right so nothing shorts out. K K Nagar is a busy place, and we are glad to be part of the local scene, helping people get a bit more enjoyment out of their daily drive.
