We operate out of an apartment in Koyambedu. It’s number 80 in the Yuga Kalpataru Apartment building. It’s a bit different from a regular shop because it’s a residential building, but we’ve set up our engineering stuff in one of the main rooms. Koyambedu is always buzzing because of the market and the bus terminus nearby. You can always hear the horns and the buses moving. Our space is filled with fire safety gear and various engineering drawings. It’s a bit cramped with all the equipment we store there. We have a couple of desks pushed against the walls. We spend a lot of our time on site, but this is where we come back to sort out the logistics. The apartment is on an upper floor, so we get a bit of a breeze if the windows are open. Most of our neighbors are used to us moving gear in and out by now. It’s a functional space, nothing fancy at all. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea. We don’t have a showroom or anything like that. People who need us usually call first. We’ve been here for a while and the location is convenient for getting to different parts of the city. It’s just a plain office in a regular apartment block.
