You can find us at 152 in the Developed Plots Estate over in Perungudi which is a part of the city that has really grown into a major hub recently. The estate is quite large and it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to the layout of the different plots. Our building is a solid practical structure that fits right in with the other industrial setups around here. At Eurotherm Del India Ltd. we mostly spend our time dealing with technical things and keeping track of the various components we work with. The heat in Chennai can be pretty intense so the fans are always spinning and we try to keep the air moving as much as possible. It’s not a place for suits and ties. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for a day of handling equipment and moving around the facility. We have a small area where we keep the records and a larger space for the actual hands-on work. Lunchtime usually involves someone going out to grab food for the group or sitting together in the small break area we cleared out in the back. There’s a lot of activity in this part of Perungudi with trucks coming in and out all day long so it’s rarely quiet. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting through the daily list of things that need to be checked or shipped out.
