We've been up here on the 7th floor of the A Wing in Parsn Manere for a while now. Most people know the Gemini area, so it's not too hard to find us. Dealing with export stuff is mostly what we do every day. It gets complicated with all the paperwork and rules that change all the time. We just sit here and try to figure out how to get things from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet while we stare at forms. It is just me and a few others working through the lists. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just a regular office where we handle the shipping documents and talk to people about their goods. Shipping things overseas takes a lot of patience. You have to check everything twice or it gets stuck at the port. We've seen it happen plenty of times. People come in with questions about taxes or how to pack things right for long trips. We just tell them what we know based on what happened last week or the month before. It is practical work, really. Not much to look at, just desks and folders and some coffee. We stay busy enough. If you’re around the Gemini building, you might see us heading out for lunch. We've been doing this long enough that the rhythms of the export business feel pretty normal to us now.
