We are located right at number one on St. Mary's Road in Mandaveli. If you know Chennai, you know this area is always moving. There’s a lot of noise from the buses and the motorbikes passing by our door. Our building is right in the thick of it. We run this hospitality business without much of a show. Most of our day is spent answering the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. It’s an old neighborhood with a lot of character. We’ve got shops all around us and the temple isn't far. The staff here has been around for a long time. We know the milkman and the guy who delivers the newspapers. Our place isn't very large, but we keep it tidy. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little bit, and we have to put out some sandbags. That’s just city life for you. We don’t go for those big fancy decorations. We just have our rooms and our small office area. People come here because they need to be in this part of town for work or to visit family. We give them the keys and let them be. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We don’t have a big corporate office elsewhere, we are just right here in Mandaveli, doing what we do every single day of the year for whoever walks through that front door.
