Our office is tucked away on the first floor of an older building on South Mada Street in Mylapore. You can find us at New No.24, which used to be No.32 back in the day. If you know the area, you know it's a bit crowded but full of life. Empire Photovoltaic Systems Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from here for some time. We deal with solar power systems, mostly focusing on the tech side of things. The streets around here are always busy, especially near the temples, so getting in and out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. Inside, it’s just a regular office space where we manage our projects and handle the technical drawings. We don't have a big showroom or flashing lights outside. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at system layouts on the computer. Sometimes people from the neighborhood drop by just to see what a photovoltaic system actually looks like. We explain it as best as we can. It’s a small operation, really. We don't have a massive staff, just a few people who are good at what they do. Mylapore is a great place to be based because everything is close by. We’ve grown used to the noise and the rhythms of the street below. It’s just us doing our bit with solar energy from a quiet corner in a very loud city. We usually close up around six and join the evening crowd on the street.
