Eastwoods Resort

You can find Eastwoods Resort at No.1/240 on the East Coast Road in Injambakkam. Being on the ECR means we deal with a lot of breeze from the sea, which is one of the things we like most about this spot. The property is spread out, so there is plenty of walking to do between the different areas. It’s not one of those cramped hotels where you feel like you’re in a box. We have a lot of trees and open spaces that we have to look after every single day. The sun can be quite strong out here in Injambakkam, so we spend a lot of our time watering the plants and making sure there is enough shade for everyone. The staff here is a mix of people who have been with us since the start and some newer faces. We don’t follow a script when we talk to guests. We just say hello and help out with whatever is needed. The pool needs cleaning constantly because of the wind blowing sand around, but that is part of the job. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but people seem to like the quiet once they get here. We aren't trying to be the flashiest place on the coast. We just offer a bit of space and some fresh air. It takes a lot of effort to keep the place looking decent, but we enjoy the work.
