If you know T. Nagar, you know how packed the streets get, especially around South Boag Road. We are tucked away on Thomas Road Second Street, over at A1-38/2. It’s a busy spot for us because hotel stuff is always in demand. At Eagm Hotel & Catering Supplies I Pvt Ltd, we have stacks of items everywhere you look. From big cooking pots to smaller cutlery sets, the inventory takes up most of our room. We spend a lot of our morning checking orders that need to go out to restaurants nearby or even further out. It’s mostly just us moving boxes and making sure we didn't miss anything on the lists. The delivery drivers know the turns around here better than anyone. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with the narrow lanes, but we make it work. We’ve had the same people working here for years. We don't have a big showroom with lights and displays. It is more of a warehouse feel where people come when they need something specific for their kitchen or catering business. We keep our notebooks handy and talk to the chefs who drop by. It’s simple. We get the items in, we store them, and then they go out to someone’s kitchen. On hot days, the ceiling fans don't do much, but the work doesn't stop. We just keep track of the stock and help out whoever walks through the door.
