Our office is in the Quanta Zen Building, specifically A-1, 38/2. We’re located off South Boag Road and Thomas Road on 2nd Street in T. Nagar. If you know T. Nagar, you know how busy it gets with all the shops and people moving around. We deal with hotel and catering supplies, so our space is often full of boxes and samples of things like plates or kitchen tools. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. The building is easy to find once you get off the main road. We spend most of our time on the phone with customers or checking on deliveries. It’s not a glamorous job, just lots of coordinating. We don’t have a big showroom, so it’s more of a workspace than a store. Sometimes the local traffic makes getting shipments in a real headache. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit and we like the energy. There’s always somewhere to grab a quick bite nearby. We aren’t a huge corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team here making sure the hotels get what they need to stay open. We keep our records in big binders and try to stay on top of everything. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief in the heat. It’s just our little corner of the city where we do our thing and try to stay organized.
