Divya Lakshmi Modern Rice Mill

We spend most of our time down here at Plot No.3/44 on Sothupakkam Road. It is a busy spot in Theerthakaraipattu, right in Redhills village. The rice mill has been running for a while now, and there is always plenty to do when the trucks pull in. Some days are louder than others because of the machines working through the grain, but that is just how things go around here. People know where to find us. We keep the place open and manage the daily work as it comes. It is mostly just us handling the processing and making sure everything stays moving. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slower or faster, especially during the harvest times. We see the same faces often, which is nice. Redhills is a good place for this kind of work. The mill is not fancy, it is just a workplace where we get the job done. We try to stay organized, even when things get a bit dusty from all the rice. It is honest work and we have been at it long enough that the routine feels like second nature now. Usually, we are here from early morning until the sun starts to go down. There is always cleaning to do after the main work is finished. It is just a local business trying to keep up with what folks need. We stay focused on the tasks at hand at the mill. It's a steady life.
