Our little shop is located at No 5, Irusappan Street, which is right in the Park Town area of Chennai. If you know where the Daily Market is, we are very close to that. It is always a bit loud around here because of the market and all the people moving back and forth all day. We deal with mobile phones mostly. People come in with cracked screens, or they need a new charger, or they are looking to get a different phone without spending too much money. We have been here for a bit now and the shop is usually full of boxes and different parts. It is not a huge place, so things can get a bit crowded when three or four customers come in at once. We don't really do the whole high-end showroom thing. It is more of a practical place where you come to get your phone fixed or buy something you need. We are usually here from morning until late evening because that is when people are out and about in the market. It is a lot of work, and some days are better than others, but we like being part of the local scene here. You see the same faces every day. We just try to say what can be fixed and what cannot. It is a simple business on a busy street and we just keep it moving. No big fuss about it.
