Cmg Food Products

Our business, Cmg Food Products, is based at number 123 in Nadu Sathipattu Village. We are part of the Lakshmi Narayana Puram area, which is a fairly quiet place to live and work. We spend our time here preparing different kinds of food items that people can use in their daily cooking. It is a small operation, nothing like the big factories you see on TV. We have a few large stoves and plenty of counter space where we do all the mixing and packing by hand. The kitchen gets quite warm during the day, especially when we have everything running at once. We usually start our work quite early to beat the worst of the afternoon heat. In a village like Nadu Sathipattu, everyone knows what everyone else is doing, so we often have neighbors sticking their heads in to see what we are making today. We use simple ingredients and try to keep everything as straightforward as possible. There is no complicated machinery here, just us and our tools. We spend a lot of time cleaning up, as you have to keep everything very tidy when you are working with food. It is a humble way to earn a living, but it feels good to make things that people actually use and eat. We are just happy to be a part of the local community here in Lakshmi Narayana Puram.
