Citizen Travels

Our office is Citizen Travels, located at number 98 on Linghi Chetty Street in the Parrys area. We are very close to Singapore Plaza, which is a popular landmark in this part of Chennai 600001. Our shop is quite basic and doesn't have any of the fancy features you might see in a corporate travel agency. It’s just a place with some desks and a couple of computers where we get the work done. The heat in Chennai can be quite strong, so the fans are always running to keep the place a bit cooler. We handle various types of travel bookings, mostly for buses and trains. We also look up flight prices for people who need them. Linghi Chetty Street is a very active place with lots of shops and people moving goods around all day. It’s noisy and a bit dusty, but we’ve been here for quite some time and we like the energy of the area. We don't try to use any special marketing language. People just come in because they need a ticket and they know we are here to help. We just check the availability, tell them what it costs, and print out the tickets once they decide. It is a straightforward process without any complications. We are just regular people running a small travel shop in a very busy corner of the city, helping whoever walks in to sort out their next trip.
