Chennai Plast

We are located upstairs at B No 147A on the first floor. The building is on Roja Street in Moulivakkam, which is over near Porur. Chennai Plast is basically just a small team of us working out of this space. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t looking for it, but we have been here a while now and the locals know us. The street gets quite busy in the mornings with people going to work. We just do our own thing without making too much of a fuss. Porur is a growing area so things are always changing around us, but our little office stays pretty much the same. It’s basic inside. We have some desks and the equipment we need to get through the day. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when we have a lot of stuff going on at once. We don't really do the whole professional corporate thing because it’s not who we are. It’s just us trying to stay on top of our orders. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we get our exercise. Most of our time is spent dealing with the actual plastic work rather than sitting on the phone. It is a local business, plain and simple. Some days are more hectic than others and we drink a lot of tea to keep going. We like it here because it feels real. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
