Cangeneral Trading Pvt. Ltd. operates out of 114 Velan Nagar in Valasaravakkam. You wouldn't really notice our place if you were just driving by on the main road. It is a practical space where we handle all the trading business. Most days the office is filled with the sound of the printer and the hum of an old air conditioner trying its best against the Chennai heat. We don't have a big corporate culture or anything like that. A few of us just sit here making sure the orders are processed and the suppliers are kept happy. If the internet goes down, we usually just take that as a sign to go get some tea from the stall around the corner. Valasaravakkam has changed quite a bit since we first set up here, and it's definitely getting more crowded, but we still like the location. Finding us is easy enough once you get onto Velan Nagar. We don't spend much on fancy furniture or decorations because that stuff doesn't really help us trade any better. Instead, we focus on the numbers and the logistics of the shipments. It’s a straightforward business without any hidden layers or fancy talk. We show up, do the work, deal with the occasional delivery headache, and then head home. It’s a quiet way to run a company, and it suits us just fine. We just keep things moving along.
