You can find Cad Design Services on the second floor of a building on Paper Mills Road. We are situated in the Peravallur-Jawahar Nagar area of Chennai, right near the Sembiam Hotel. It is a busy part of the city, especially during the morning commute when everyone is heading to work. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the street below, though it’s mostly just buses and motorcycles. We spend a lot of time on computers doing technical drawings and layouts. It’s the kind of work that requires sitting still for long hours, so we try to keep the office comfortable in a basic way. We don't have a corporate setup with a front desk or anything. It’s mostly desks and screens. Sometimes the noise from the road downstairs makes its way up, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. People usually call us or just walk in after seeing our sign near the hotel. We started doing this because we were good at the technical side of design. It’s not flashy work, but it is necessary for building and planning. We try to be clear about what we can do and how long it will take. There isn't any mystery to it. We just use the software to create what the client needs. It's a steady job in a busy neighborhood. We stay focused on the work.
