Bvm Vegetables

Our vegetable stall is located at number 48 in the Panaggal Park Market in T Nagar. It is a very busy market and we have been here for many years. We start our day very early while most of the city is still sleeping so we can get the best produce from the wholesale trucks. The space is small and we have to stack the crates high to fit everything in. It is not a polished supermarket environment. It is noisy and there is always water on the floor from the fresh greens and people pushing past each other. We do not have a website or an app for ordering. You just come to the stall and pick out what you want. We spend our day talking to customers and weighing out vegetables on the old scales. Some days are better than others depending on what is in season and how the weather has been. If it rains the market gets quite muddy but we still show up and set out the goods. We do not use any marketing language to sell our vegetables. We just show people what we have and tell them the price. It is a simple way of living and we have gotten used to the long hours on our feet. We like being part of the T Nagar community and seeing the same faces every week.
