We've been operating out of Kolathur for a while now. Specifically, you can find us at No. 8/3B in Girija Nagar West. It's a pretty quiet area of Chennai compared to some other parts of the city. Brickbus Technologies Private Limited is really just a small group of us working on various tech stuff every single day. We don't really do the fancy office thing with glass walls and expensive coffee machines. Usually, you'll just find us at our desks trying to figure out how to make things work a little better than they did yesterday. It gets a bit hot in this part of Tamil Nadu, especially in the summer months, but the fans keep us going and we don't complain too much about it. People sometimes ask what we do exactly when they see the name, and it's mostly just building things with code and software for different needs. We started this whole thing because we liked solving problems and didn't want to work in a giant corporate building. There isn't much to say about our history or anything like that, we just grew slowly over time by doing the work. Most of the team lives nearby, so the commute isn't too bad for them, which is a big plus in Chennai. We try to stay focused on the tasks we have for the day and not get distracted. If you ever find yourself in the 600099 area, you might pass by our building. It’s nothing special to look at from the outside, just a regular place where work happens. No big meetings or long speeches are needed here. Just practical work and getting things done before the day ends. We’ve stayed in this spot because it suits us well.
