Bharat Food Products

Our place, Bharat Food Products, is tucked away at No. 52 on IIIrd Street in Balaji Nagar. This is part of the Padi area, which is mostly residential but has a lot of small businesses like ours mixed in. We’ve been here for a good few years now. The street isn’t very wide, so when the delivery trucks come, it gets a bit tight. We do a lot of the packing and prep work right here on the premises. It’s a lot of manual work, moving sacks and boxes around. The smell of whatever we are processing that day usually fills the whole building. It’s not a polished setup with glass walls or anything. It’s just a concrete floor and some sturdy tables. We have a few regulars who come by to pick up stuff directly. Most of the time, we are just busy fulfilling orders and keeping the place clean. The neighborhood is alright, pretty quiet once you get off the main Padi roads. We know the neighbors and they don't seem to mind the noise from our machines too much. It’s a simple life running a food business. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make decent products and keep the lights on. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, but that’s part of the job. We just keep our heads down and get the orders out as fast as we can.
