Bhabani Sankar Nayak

We are situated at 142 Apper Swamy Koil Street in Chennai 600001. The name on the door says Nayak. The street is named after the temple nearby, so there is often a bit of a religious or local crowd around, especially during festivals. It’s an old part of town, and the buildings reflect that. Our place is quite modest. It’s just a room where we keep our books and do our daily tasks. We don't have any fancy signage or a big front office. It feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. The street is narrow, and you can hear the neighbors talking or the bells from the temple at certain times of the day. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time. It's not a corporate office by any stretch of the imagination. It's just a practical space for a working person. We have a few chairs for when people stop by, and a desk that is usually covered in papers. The lighting isn't the best, but we make do. It gets quite humid here, so the fan is always on high. We prefer it this way, staying connected to the local area rather than being tucked away in some tall glass tower. It’s a simple life and a simple office. The commute can be slow because of the tight lanes, but we are used to it by now. We usually open up early to catch the morning breeze.
