Bgr Energy Systems Ltd is located at 443, Anna Salai in Teynampet. This is one of the busiest roads in all of Chennai, so there is never a quiet moment outside our doors. The building is right there in the middle of everything, which makes it easy to find but sometimes hard to park near. Inside, the atmosphere is quite different from the chaos of the street. It is a standard office setup where we manage large-scale energy projects. There are lots of maps and technical diagrams pinned to the walls. We spend a lot of time on the phone or in meetings trying to figure out the logistics of different sites across the country. The staff here is a mix of older experts and some younger folks just starting out. We have a canteen where most people go to grab a quick rice plate for lunch. It’s a functional place, not really meant for showing off. We focus mostly on the engineering and the numbers. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the Chennai heat, but we just keep working through it. Being on Anna Salai means we are close to everything we need, from the bank to the post office. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just about getting the energy systems planned and built. It is a long day’s work most of the time, but we are used to the pace by now.
