We’ve been at 217 Angappan Street for quite a bit now. If you come by, you have to walk up to the second floor. It’s not a fancy place, just where we keep the boxes and handle all the gift orders. We spend most of our mornings sorting through things and making sure the labels are right. Sometimes the post box gets full, especially around holidays. Post Box No. 1395 is our official spot for mail. It's a bit of a climb up the stairs but we like it here. The street stays busy all day. You can hear the noise from the market below while we’re taping up packages. There’s always coffee in the corner and someone usually has the radio on quiet. We don't really do big ads or anything. Most people just know us from around the neighborhood or they’ve been coming here for years. It’s just me and a couple of others trying to keep things organized. We handle Best Gift Co. Pvt Ltd with our own hands, nothing fancy or automated about it. If a box is slightly crooked, we just fix it. That's how it goes in a place like this. We’ve seen the street change a lot over time. New shops come and go but we stay in our little corner on the second floor. It gets dusty, and the fans are old, but it works for us and we have no plans to move.
