Apzem India Tools

Our place, Apzem India Tools, is at No.7, New Street in Arjuna Nagar. It is tucked away in Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it stays fairly peaceful compared to the city center. We have a workshop where we keep all the tools and machinery. The floor usually has a bit of metal shavings or dust on it because we are always working on something. We don't really have a showroom. If someone wants to see what we have, we just bring them into the back where the stock is kept. It’s a bit cramped with all the crates, but we know where everything is. The humidity in Chennai can be tough in the summers, so we have a few big fans blowing all the time. We aren't interested in being a polished corporate office. We like the smell of grease and the sound of machines running. Most of the guys here have been working with tools their whole lives. We talk to each other in simple terms and don't use any of that fancy business talk. We just want to make sure the tools we send out work like they are supposed to. If you're looking for us, look for the small gate on New Street. We are usually there from morning until the sun goes down, just putting in the hours and finishing up the work on the bench until everything is packed away for the night.
