Baskara Industries

Baskara Industries is located over in Korattur, specifically on 1st Street in Thillai Nagar. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, which makes it easier for trucks to get in and out when they need to drop things off. We handle a lot of industrial work here, mostly small parts and some fabrication stuff. It isn’t a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Usually, the machines are running all day long. The shop floor is always a bit cluttered with scraps and tools, but we know where everything is. A few of us have worked here for years, so we’ve got a rhythm down. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork unless we really have to. Most of our day is spent actually making things or fixing whatever broke the night before. Sometimes the weather gets really hot in Chennai, and the shed gets a bit stuffy, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. Neighbors around Thillai Nagar know us as the place that’s always got some noise coming out of it. We just try to get the orders done and out the door so we can move on to the next one. It’s basic work, but it’s what we do well enough to keep the doors open.
