Bala Traders

We’ve been at 488A Kolathur Main Road for a long time now. Most people in Kovilambakkam know our spot because of the constant traffic out front. It is usually pretty loud and busy during the day. Bala Traders is just a regular place where we keep all our inventory and wait for the next delivery truck to pull in. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the office and covers the desks, but that’s just how it is around here. We spend most of our mornings moving heavy things around and checking off the delivery lists. It isn’t a fancy place. We have a small desk and a few old chairs where we sit when things finally go quiet for a minute. If you are driving down the main road, you will see our sign. It’s seen better days and the paint is peeling a bit, maybe. We try to keep the yard somewhat organized, but with so much stuff coming in and going out every day, it gets messy really fast. The neighbors know us by name, and we know most of them too. It is a lot of work, keeping track of every single item. We just show up every morning, unlock the heavy gates, and get started. There is no big corporate office or anything like that. Just a few of us here in Kovilambakkam doing the work. The rain sometimes turns the yard into a real mud pit, which is always a mess to deal with. We just get through it and keep moving. That's just the daily life here at the shop.
