If you are looking for us, we are at Number 6 on Periyar Street in Avadi. This is a busy part of Chennai and there is always something going on outside our doors. Our focus here is on catering and hotel management. It is a very hands-on kind of place. You won't see many people sitting still here for long. We have kitchens where the students practice their cooking and areas where they learn how to set tables and manage guests. The smell of food usually drifts through the whole building by mid-morning. It’s a practical setup, not a luxury hotel itself, but a place to learn how they work. We have students coming from all over Chennai and even further away because Avadi is well connected by the trains. The office is small and usually has a few people waiting to ask about the courses. We don't have a big marketing team, so most of our work is done by the instructors themselves. We deal with a lot of dirty dishes and messy floors because that is the reality of the hospitality business. The students wear their uniforms and we try to keep things professional, even when the heat in the kitchen gets to be a lot. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it. We just keep our heads down and teach the skills that help people get jobs.
