Our place is over in Navarathinapuram, specifically around the 18 Steps area on Kamarajar Salai. The address says 199/2-1, and that is where we do all the work for Ayarpadi Foods. Madurai is a city that never really sleeps, and our street is no different. There are always people moving about and something going on outside our door. We handle food products, which means there is a lot of lifting and moving boxes around the storage area. It is hard work, and our shirts usually have a bit of dust on them by the end of the shift. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices; we just have this space where we manage the orders. The heat in Madurai can be really tough some days, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning before the sun gets too high. We chose this spot because it's central and makes it easier for us to get around the city. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the shortcuts and the local vendors. It's a simple operation where we focus on what needs to be done today. We don't spend much time on decorations or looking professional, we just care about getting the food items out to where they need to go. It’s just us doing our jobs in a corner of Madurai and making sure the supplies are handled right every day of the week.
