You can find us in Kodambakkam, on the 4th Main Road of United India Colony. Our office is at 22/17. Being in Chennai, it’s always a bit of a rush with the traffic and the noise outside. Avaniya Agro Foods is our attempt to bring better food products to the city people. We deal with a lot of different agro items, and it’s a constant cycle of bringing stuff in and getting it delivered. The space is often filled with boxes and the smell of whatever we’ve got in stock that week. We are a small team, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s answering the phone or helping load a van. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It’s more like a small family business where we eat lunch together and complain about the heat. Some days are stressful when a shipment is late or something gets messed up in the warehouse, but we just fix it and move on. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to provide decent food and make a living. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try not to be too loud with the trucks. It’s a tight space, and we are always reorganizing things to make more room. It’s just honest, everyday work for us that keeps the lights on.
