You can find Auraa Inn Company at number 7 on Walajabad Road. We are situated in Vandalur, which is a busy spot for people traveling through. Our place isn't like those massive luxury hotels you see in the city center. It’s more of a straightforward inn for people who need a place to stay. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are ready and talking to the guests who come through our doors. Some are just passing by on the way to the zoo, others are here for work. The road outside can be quite noisy with all the trucks and buses, but once you get inside, it’s a bit calmer. We don't have a team of people in fancy uniforms. We just wear what's comfortable and get the work done. Whether it’s changing linens or fixing a leaky tap, we handle it ourselves. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just provide a roof and a bed. It’s a family-run kind of vibe. We eat our meals in the small back room when we have a break. Sometimes we sit out front and watch the traffic go by on Walajabad Road. It’s a simple life running an inn. We meet a lot of different people, which is the best part of the job. It gets busy on weekends, but we manage just fine.
