Aruna Hotel

It is a crowded part of town, but we like being right in the middle of all the shopping and the crowds. Aruna Hotel has been a part of this street for a good bit of time. It's not one of those huge, shiny hotels you see in the magazines. We’re just a local spot where people come to stay when they have business in Chennai or just want to be near the markets. The rooms are straightforward. We don't have fancy carpets or anything like that, just what you need for a night or two. Sometimes the traffic outside is pretty loud, but that is just life in T Nagar for you. We spend our mornings making sure everything is tidy before the next guest arrives. It’s a lot of work keeping up with a place in such a busy area, but we’re used to it. You might find us sitting near the entrance chatting with the neighbors when it’s quiet.
