Our place is on Balaji Street, number 15/21, over in Sri Venkatesa Perumal Nagar. Velocity Internet Services is tucked away on a street that feels a bit more like a neighborhood than a business district. We spend a lot of time out on the road or climbing up to check lines, but this is where we keep all the gear and the spare cables. The office is pretty simple. We have some racks for the equipment and a couple of old chairs for when we need to sit down and figure out a connection issue. It’s not a polished showroom. You might see some coils of wire in the corner or a ladder leaning against the wall. That’s just how it looks when you’re busy with internet stuff. We know the people on Balaji Street and they see us coming and going with our tools. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains hard and we have to figure out where the signal dropped. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. We just answer the phone and go where the trouble is. It is practical work and we try to stay on top of it. Being in Sri Venkatesa Perumal Nagar is good because it’s central for the areas we cover. We just focus on keeping the lines active and making sure the routers are doing their job.
